For PR and brand teams
Understand and shape AI conversations about your brand: brand sentiment in Answer Engines, visibility into Answer Engine citations, and more earned media placements.

Mentionry is an AI marketing platform for digital PR for AI search. It records how ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews describe your brand daily, shows which earned media pages they cite, and finds journalist requests and podcasts where you could be featured. Your AI Marketer drafts the pitches, and you approve and send them from your own email.

What to expect, and what not to
- Fact-checking the engines' claims against your own ground truth is not built yet. The answers are kept in full so it can run over the archive when it ships.
- Nothing is sent without your approval, and a trial sends nothing at all.
Your brand narrative is being written by AI
When a buyer asks an answer engine what to buy, the response shapes their perception of your brand. You cannot see these private conversations. You do not know if the AI is citing a recent press release, a critical review, or an outdated article. Your earned media strategy is missing its most influential channel.
Your job is to control the narrative. Today, you are measured on coverage in publications. Tomorrow, you will be measured on visibility and sentiment in AI. Without a way to see and influence these AI conversations, you are managing reputation with one hand tied behind your back.
A week of digital PR for AI search
On Monday, you open the Monitor. You review the sentiment scores from the past week. Mentionry has read the tracked prompts in ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews. It shows a shift in how your brand is described, from 'innovative' to 'established'. You click into the theme to see the full answer text and the three articles the model cited to form that opinion. All three are from earned media.
On Tuesday, you look at Citation Tracking. The report splits citations into owned, operated, and earned. You filter to earned media only. You see which publications are most frequently cited when AI talks about your brand. You note a trade publication you have not pitched in a year is still a top source.
By Wednesday, you are in Opportunities. The list shows journalist requests from Help a Reporter Out and similar services that match your expertise. It also shows reporters who have recently written articles that cite your competitors. Each opportunity is judged against what your brand can honestly say. The ones worth pursuing arrive with a pitch already drafted by your AI Marketer.
On Thursday, you open the Desk. You review the drafted pitches. You edit one for tone. You approve it. The AI Marketer sends it from your connected Gmail account. Mentionry never places or publishes anything, it only sends the email you approved. Whether a page then cites your brand is the publisher's decision.
On Friday, you check the Agent you set up. It runs every morning, checking for new mentions of your brand in Perplexity and Claude. It sends a summary to your Slack channel. There is no proactive alert for a sentiment drop, you built the agent to do that.
What to measure and report to your team
Your core metrics are visibility, sentiment, and share of voice. Visibility score is how often your brand is named in AI answers. A low score means you are absent from the conversation. Sentiment analysis shows the adjectives and themes used to describe you. Track this daily to catch narrative shifts.
Share of voice shows your visibility against named competitors. If a competitor is mentioned twice as often, you know where to focus. Average position matters less here than the quality of citations. Report on the mix of earned media versus your own domains. Show your boss which publications are driving the AI narrative and how your outreach is changing that mix over time.
Where your next media placements come from
Opportunities in Mentionry surfaces journalist requests, podcasts booking guests, conferences taking speakers, and awards taking entries. It also finds articles that cite your competitors but not you, and articles that name your brand without a link.
For each, your AI Marketer drafts the outreach. For a journalist request, it writes a tailored pitch using your brand kit and the specifics of the query. For a reporter who cited a competitor, it drafts a concise email offering your expert perspective. For an unlinked mention, it suggests a polite request for a citation. Every draft is an approval card you must confirm before anything is sent.
What to expect and what is not built yet
You can see every answer text and cited URL. You can track sentiment changes and earned media citations. You can find opportunities and send approved pitches. Recording starts the day you add a prompt, there is no backfill. A brand never mentioned has no average position.
Fact checking the engines' claims against your own ground truth is not built yet. The answers are kept in full so this can run over the archive when it ships. Proactive alerts outside a scheduled agent are not built, alerts arrive through an agent you set up. Nothing is ever sent without your approval, and a trial account sends nothing at all.
