Integrations

Mentionry connects with your marketing stack

Powerful integrations that work seamlessly within Mentionry: the apps we write to, the answer engines we read every day, the public sources we mine, and the ways your own tools get at the data. Every row is usable today or is marked as on the Enterprise quote.

Mentionry provides AI marketing integrations that connect its platform to your data sources and workflow tools. It reads daily from answer engines like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews, connects to 1,500+ apps including HubSpot and Slack for its AI Marketer to operate, and offers an MCP server for direct data access, ensuring your AI visibility work is grounded in your actual marketing stack.

How the AI marketing integrations fit together

Mentionry's connections are built for a single purpose: to let you see what AI search says about your brand and act on it using the tools you already have. The integrations fall into three groups that work together.

First, the platform reads from sources. This includes the answer engines you track, like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews, to record citations and answers. It also reads from public web sources like journalist request feeds and podcast listings to find opportunities. Finally, it reads from your own properties, like your sitemap, to understand which of your pages the engines are seeing.

Second, the AI Marketer connects to your operational apps. Through 1,500+ connected apps including HubSpot, Notion, and Google Sheets, it can read your customer data, content calendars, and performance metrics. It uses this context to draft relevant pitches, update records, or post digests, but always asks for your approval before making any change.

Third, you can pull data out for your own use. The MCP server lets Claude or other MCP clients query your Mentionry account directly. On the Enterprise plan, API keys provide REST access for custom reporting and dashboards.

Connecting the answer engines we read

The core of Mentionry is its daily reading of AI answer engines. For each prompt you track, the platform queries the engines on your plan and records the full answer text, every URL cited, and every brand mentioned.

Today, the Starter plan reads from ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews. The Enterprise quote includes readings from Perplexity and Google AI Mode as well. Other engines like Microsoft Copilot and Claude are listed on the Enterprise quote as their technical integrations are completed; Mentionry does not sell access to an engine it cannot reliably read.

This reading is done from the consumer-facing products, not via their general APIs. This method captures the query fan-out, showing the searches the model performed internally to arrive at its answer, and reflects the experience a real buyer would have.

Using the MCP server for your marketing data

The MCP server is a direct bridge between your Mentionry account and AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol, like Claude. Once configured, it allows those assistants to query your live Mentionry data.

You could ask your MCP-connected assistant, "What did ChatGPT say about our brand last week?" or "Show me our top three cited pages from Gemini." The assistant retrieves the readings, citations, and metrics directly from your account to answer, without you needing to export or manually share files.

This turns your AI visibility data into a real-time knowledge base for any strategy session. It is included on all paid plans, making your marketing intelligence accessible to the AI tools you use for planning.

How the AI Marketer works with your connected apps

The AI Marketer is an agent that operates with the context of your entire stack. It can connect to over 1,500 apps including HubSpot, Slack, Mailchimp, WordPress, and Shopify.

Its permission is read-only by default. It can freely check your HubSpot deal stages, read a Notion content brief, or scan a Google Sheet of target publishers. When it needs to act, such as drafting an email to a lead or posting a weekly summary to Slack, it presents the action to you as an approval card. You review and confirm every write.

This allows you to build automated, cross-platform workflows. An agent could monitor for new journalist requests that match your expertise, draft a pitch using your product knowledge base, and place the draft in a Google Doc for your review, all without you switching tabs.

What to connect first

Start with the essentials for monitoring and outreach. Connect Gmail, as it is required for sending pitches from the Opportunities desk. Your replies will land directly in your inbox.

Next, connect the answer engines relevant to your plan. If you are on Starter, this is ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews. This begins your daily recording of AI visibility.

Then, connect one or two key operational apps where you want the AI Marketer to work or post updates. For many teams, this is Slack for team digests or Google Docs for storing drafted content. You can expand connections gradually as you build more agents.

Finally, consider setting up the MCP server if you regularly use Claude or another MCP client for marketing planning. It provides the most direct query access to your data.

What these integrations will not do

It is important to understand the limits. Mentionry's integrations are for data access and approved actions, not for autonomous campaign management.

The platform does not place, publish, or pay for links. The outreach desk helps you draft and send pitches from your own email, but whether a publisher then cites you is their decision.

The AI Marketer cannot take unprompted action. There are no proactive alerts outside of an agent you schedule. Every write operation requires your explicit approval on a card.

Data reading is bound by availability. Prompt Volumes, which estimates search demand around your topics, is a partial model based on search data, not a live panel of assistant users. Shopping visibility insights are also partial. Backfill of historical engine data is not and will not be available.

Questions

Yes. Mentionry's AI Marketer connects to HubSpot as one of over 1,500 available apps. It can read your HubSpot contact lists, deal pipelines, and company records to inform its work. For instance, it could draft a personalized outreach email using a contact's industry from HubSpot. It will always ask for your approval before creating or updating any record in HubSpot.
