Otterly.AI

otterly.ai

AI search monitoring: it tracks brand mentions and link citations across AI answer engines, with prompt research and a generative engine optimisation audit.

Published price

  • Lite $29/month (15 prompts, 4 engines, 1 workspace, daily tracking, unlimited seats)
  • Standard $189/month (100 prompts, API and MCP access, agent analytics, unlimited workspaces)
  • Premium $489/month (400 prompts, 10,000 GEO URL audits a month)
  • Enterprise Custom (the page states it starts from $1,000/month; adds SSO and a dedicated CSM)

Pick them when

You want to start cheaply and you want a monthly term. $29 for fifteen prompts across four engines is the lowest price on a monthly term in this category, and Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode are available as add-ons rather than an enterprise upgrade.

Checked facts

  • Its published prices are monthly prices. The page carries a Monthly and Annually toggle with 15% off on the annual term, and the figures above are the monthly side. (source, checked 2026-08-23)
  • Lite is $29 a month for 15 prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot. Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode are paid add-ons on every tier. (source, checked 2026-08-23)
  • Extra prompts are sold in blocks of 100 at $99. (source, checked 2026-08-23)

Ranked by how far each one takes you

The job runs in three steps: read what the answer engines say, find the pages and people behind those answers, then send the approach. Most tools in this category do the first step only. Every cell below comes from the vendor's own published pages, and a field we have not checked says so rather than counting against them.

* AirOps: ChatGPT only, and only from its Solo tier up — the rest of the product is content production.

Why Mentionry is first: it is the only row that does not stop at the reading. It records what the answer engines on your plan say about you every day, then takes the pages those answers cited and finds the journalists, podcasts, awards and contributor programmes behind them, plus the pages linking to your competitors and not to you. Each opening is judged one at a time, and the ones worth taking arrive with the email already written. As with every tool here, the engines depend on the rung: $99 a month runs ChatGPT alone, $399 runs 3 engines, and the quoted tier runs every engine that can run.

Mentionry sends from your own connected mailbox. Whether a page then cites you is the publisher's decision, not ours, and nothing here is promised.

Why look for an alternative

You search for Otterly.AI pricing because you want to know what a brand costs before you buy it. The published price is one answer. The other is whether the tool solves the problem you actually have.

Otterly.AI measures AI answer visibility. It tells you whether your brand appears when someone asks a question your buyers ask, and which competitors are named instead. That is a measurement problem. Knowing you are absent does not get you named. Getting named is an outreach problem. It means finding the pages the answers cited, the people who published them, and drafting the approach they will read.

An alternative might give you deeper measurement, or cheaper measurement, or it might start with the measurement and then do the outreach. This page lists six other tools. Each one is described with what it is, its published price, who it suits, and where it falls short.

Otterly.AI

Otterly.AI is an AI search monitoring tool. It tracks brand mentions and link citations across AI answer engines, provides prompt research, and runs a generative engine optimisation audit.

Its published prices are monthly. The Lite plan is $29 a month for 15 prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot. Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode are paid add-ons on every tier. The Standard plan is $189 a month for 100 prompts, API access and agent analytics. Premium is $489 a month for 400 prompts and 10,000 GEO URL audits. Enterprise custom pricing starts from $1,000 a month.

It covers AI answer visibility and LLM visibility tracking. It does not cover journalist requests, podcast guest booking, speaking opportunities, awards, bylined articles, unlinked mentions, outreach drafts, or backlink gap analysis.

  • Pick Otterly.AI when you want to start cheaply on a monthly term. $29 for fifteen prompts across four engines is the lowest published monthly price in this category.
  • Look elsewhere when you need the outreach half. Fifteen prompts answers whether you are absent. It does not answer what to do about it.

Featured.com is an AI PR co-pilot. It finds media opportunities and helps you pitch them. The company is behind Connectively, which was HARO.

Its published pricing has a free tier with a daily credit allowance. Lite is $29 a month, billed annually at $348. Pro is $79 a month, billed annually at $948. A Pro+ tier scales usage 20x. The pricing page states all plans include every feature.

It covers journalist requests, finding journalists, podcast guest booking, speaking opportunities, industry awards, bylined articles, AI answer visibility, and unlinked mentions. It does not cover backlink gap analysis, link prospecting, or resource page link building.

  • Pick Featured.com when you want the earn channel and nothing else, you want it cheap, and you are happy to work inside a chat interface. They are good at this and they are inexpensive.
  • Pick Mentionry when you also need the links your competitors already have. That half of the problem is not in their product, whatever their homepage says.

Peec AI

Peec AI is an AI search analytics tool. It tracks how often a brand appears in AI assistant answers and reports share of voice.

Its published prices are annual billing prices. Starter is listed at $80 a month, billed annually, for 50 prompts and 3 models. Pro is $205 a month, billed annually, for 150 prompts. Advanced is $420 a month, billed annually, for 350 prompts. Enterprise is custom. Paid tiers let you choose 3 models from a list; all eleven models are Enterprise only.

It covers AI answer visibility and LLM visibility tracking. It does not cover journalist requests, podcast guest booking, speaking opportunities, awards, bylined articles, unlinked mentions, outreach drafts, or backlink gap analysis.

  • Pick Peec AI when you want measurement and nothing else, you have somebody to act on it, and you track a lot of prompts. At 350 prompts on Advanced they are cheaper per prompt than we are.
  • Pick Mentionry when you want the reading and then the work. Measurement tells you that you are absent. It does not get you named.

Profound

Profound is an answer engine optimisation platform. It tracks how a brand appears across AI answer engines, reports prompt volumes and agent traffic, and runs content agents against what it finds.

Its published prices are annual billing prices. Starter is $99 a month, billed yearly, and tracks ChatGPT only. Growth is $399 a month, billed yearly, and adds two more engines. Enterprise is custom and is the only tier with SSO and more than three engines.

It covers AI answer visibility and LLM visibility tracking. It does not cover journalist requests, podcast guest booking, speaking opportunities, awards, bylined articles, unlinked mentions, outreach drafts, or backlink gap analysis.

  • Pick Profound when you are an enterprise, you want the deepest measurement in the category, and you want prompt volumes and agent traffic alongside it.
  • Pick Mentionry when you want the reading and then the work. Their agents write content. Ours find the people who can cite you and draft the approach from your own mailbox.

AirOps

AirOps is a content production platform with AI search visibility layered on top. It tracks prompts and pages, then runs workflows and agents to write and refresh content against what it finds.

Its pricing page publishes a figure for one tier only. Insights is $0 a month. Solo, Pro, Pages and Enterprise have limits but no published price. The Solo tier's AI search insights cover ChatGPT only. Multi engine insights start at Pro.

It covers AI answer visibility and LLM visibility tracking. It does not cover journalist requests, podcast guest booking, speaking opportunities, awards, unlinked mentions, outreach drafts, or backlink gap analysis.

  • Pick AirOps when your bottleneck is producing content rather than knowing where you stand. The workflow and grid tooling is strong, and the free tier lets you try it.
  • Pick Mentionry when you want to know what a plan costs before you book a call. And you want the off site half: the pages the answers cited and the approach drafted and sent.

Scrunch AI

Scrunch AI is an AI search monitoring tool moving toward what the company calls an Agent Experience Platform. It tracks brand citations, agent traffic on your own site, and runs site audits aimed at how AI agents read it.

Its published price for the Core tier is $250 a month for 125 prompts and four engines. All nine engines, API access and SSO are Enterprise only, at an unpublished price.

It covers AI answer visibility and LLM visibility tracking. It does not cover journalist requests, podcast guest booking, speaking opportunities, awards, bylined articles, unlinked mentions, outreach drafts, or backlink gap analysis.

  • Pick Scrunch AI when you care as much about what AI agents do on your site as what they say about you elsewhere. Their agent traffic and site audit work is the most developed.
  • Pick Mentionry when you want the off site half. Their audits tell you how to make your own pages readable. That only helps once the answer already reaches your site.

Mentionry

Mentionry finds the specific places a business can get a backlink, and writes the thing you have to send to get it. You give it a domain. It works out who that site competes with, then runs two engines. One finds pages that link to your competitors and not to you, plus resource pages and directories. The other finds journalists asking for sources, podcasts that book guests, conferences taking speakers, awards taking entries, and publications that take contributed articles.

Every opportunity comes with a drafted email, form submission or reply, sent from your own connected mailbox. Links are verified after the fact. A link removed or turned nofollow later shows as a change.

Its AI answer visibility channel reads Google AI Overviews and reports pages you can pitch. The other engines are what its answer engine tracking records. That channel runs your prompts against the engines on your plan on a schedule and keeps the answers. Recording starts the day a prompt is added. There is no backfill.

  • Pick Mentionry when you want the reading and then the work: the pages the answers cited, who to approach, and the message drafted and sent.
  • Look elsewhere for several things. HARO, Source of Sources and Connectively queries are not pulled in automatically. You paste one in and it is judged and drafted. Its AI answer visibility covers Google and not other assistants. It cannot place or publish a link, only send the pitch. Several channels are not built, including broken link building, registries and relationship inventory. Pricing starts from $99 a month, with Agency quoted.

How to choose

First, separate the measurement problem from the outreach problem. A tool that only measures tells you where you stand. A tool that only outreaches needs you to know where to point it. Some tools try both.

Second, look at the published price and the billing term. Several tools here advertise a monthly figure that is actually an annual billing price. Otterly.AI, Scrunch AI and Mentionry publish genuine monthly prices you can pay by the month.

Third, read what is not covered. Every tool on this page has gaps. The honest ones state them. If a homepage claim does not match the pricing page, that is a fact you can check.

Choose the tool whose gaps best match what you already have. If you have a content team but no visibility, buy measurement. If you have visibility but no links, buy outreach. If you have neither, buy the one that does both, and accept that it will not do either job as deeply as a specialist.

Questions people actually ask

What is Otterly.AI's cheapest plan?

Otterly.AI's cheapest plan is Lite, at $29 a month. It tracks 15 prompts across four AI answer engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot. Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode are available as paid add-ons on this and every other tier.

Does Featured.com do link building?

Featured.com's homepage lists link gap analysis and finding backlinks among its capabilities. Its pricing page lists eleven features, and none of them are about links. The tool is built for media outreach: finding journalist requests, podcast opportunities, awards and bylined articles. It does not cover backlink gap analysis or resource page prospecting.

Which tool tracks the most AI answer engines?

Profound's Enterprise tier tracks up to nine answer engines, the most in this comparison. Its Growth tier tracks three. Otterly.AI's entry tier tracks four, with more as add-ons. Peec AI's paid tiers track three, with eleven on Enterprise. Scrunch AI's Core tier tracks four, with nine on Enterprise. The number of engines a tool tracks is often an enterprise feature.

Can Mentionry place a backlink for me?

No. Mentionry sends a pitch from your own connected mailbox. It drafts the email, form submission or reply needed to ask for a link. Whether a link then appears is the site owner's decision. Mentionry verifies after the fact whether a link appeared, on which page, and with what anchor. It does not place, publish, guarantee or deliver a link.

Run this against your own domain

Give it a domain and it works out who you compete with, mines the pages that link to them and not to you, judges every opening one at a time, and writes the email, the form or the reply. It sends them from your own mailbox, so the replies come to you.
