For AEO teams
Information is shifting from blue links to AI answers. Meet your customers there: increase visibility, earn more citations, and win share of voice.

An AEO platform is a tool that helps marketing teams measure and improve their brand's visibility in AI answer engines like ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews. Mentionry is an AEO platform that records what these engines say about your brand each day, shows you which pages they cite, and provides an AI Marketer to help you act on the insights.
How it works

What to expect, and what not to
- Five engines record today. Copilot, Claude, Grok and DeepSeek are on the Enterprise quote as their transports land, and no screen claims them before then.
- There is no backfill. Your archive starts the day you add a question.
The problem for AEO teams
Your job is the AI answer. You are measured on how often your brand appears in the responses from ChatGPT, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, and the others. The old tools show you where you rank on a page of blue links. They cannot show you what the large language model said, which sources it cited to say it, or why it chose a competitor over you.
Your buyers are asking these engines what to buy. If you are not cited in the answer, you are not in the consideration. You cannot optimize what you cannot see. You need a record of what was said, a way to earn more citations, and a process to show your progress.
A week with this AEO platform
Your week starts in Answer Engine Insights. You add the questions your buyers ask, from broad category queries to specific product comparisons. Mentionry puts each prompt to the engines on your plan once a day. You now have a daily record of your visibility, the exact answer text, and every URL the model opened to form its reply.
Next, you open Citation Tracking and Analysis. Here you see which of your pages the engines are reading and citing. You see the prompts where a competitor is cited and you are not. The split between owned, operated, and earned citations shows you where your authority truly lies.
Then you check the Query Fanout for a key topic. This shows you the searches each engine ran internally to decide on its final answer. You see the informational paths your buyers' questions trigger. This intelligence helps you win share of voice by understanding the evidence the model evaluates.
Finally, you move to Outreach and Distribution. The Opportunities screen lists places you could appear next, matched against what your brand can honestly say. The AI Marketer drafts the pitch. You approve the draft at your Desk and send it from your own Gmail. The goal is to be the source the model chooses next time.
What to measure and report
Focus on three metrics. First, visibility score: how often is your brand named in the answers to your tracked prompts? A brand never mentioned has no average position. Second, share of voice: when your brand and its competitors are named, what percentage of those mentions are yours?
Third, analyze your citations. The platform shows you which of your pages are being opened and cited. It shows you the prompts that return answers without citing you. Report this split by engine and by topic. Show your boss or client the direct connection between your content and the AI's answer.
Dashboards arrange these metrics per brand or client. You can filter by region, by persona, or by day. Exports are available for further analysis. This is the evidence that your AEO work is moving the needle.
Where your openings come from
The Opportunities screen is your source of action. It finds journalist requests that match your expertise, podcasts booking guests, conferences taking speakers, and awards taking entries. It finds pages that cite a competitor and not you, and articles that name your brand without a link.
For each opportunity, the AI Marketer drafts the appropriate outreach. It uses your brand kit and knowledge bases to write a relevant pitch. You might get a draft reply to a journalist's query on HARO, a speaker submission for a conference, or an email to a site that cited a competitor.
Every single draft is presented on an approval card for you to confirm before anything is sent. Mentionry never places, publishes, or pays for a link. Your outreach comes from your own mailbox, and the decision to cite you rests with the publisher.
What to expect and what not to
This is what the platform does today. It records answers, tracks citations, and provides an AI Marketer to act on the insights. The AI Marketer can draft landing pages and emails, generate short image clips, and connect to 1,500+ apps like HubSpot and Slack to read data and ask before it writes.
It works within these limits. You should know them before you start.
- Five engines record today: ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, and Claude. Which engines you can read depends on your plan.
- Microsoft Copilot, Grok, and DeepSeek appear on the Enterprise quote as their transports land. No screen claims to track them before then.
- There is no backfill. Your archive starts the day you add a question.
- Prompt Volumes, which estimates real search demand, is marked as partly live. It uses search data, not a panel of assistant users.
- Shopping visibility and proactive alerts outside of a scheduled agent are not yet built.
