How AI visibility tool pricing works
Your bill is based on the scope of your measurement. You pay for the number of brands you track, the answer engines you read them on, and the volume of questions you ask those engines daily. Each tracked question is a prompt.
The Starter plan includes one brand, 50 prompts a day, and daily readings on three engines: ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. If you need to track a second brand, monitor on Claude or Perplexity, or ask more than 50 questions a day, you would move to an Enterprise plan. Seats, which are user logins, also scale with the plan. Starter includes one seat, Enterprise starts from ten.
This model means you only pay for the visibility you actively need to measure. There are no hidden fees for data retention or basic features like exports or the AI Marketer.
What you get with each plan
Every plan gives you the complete platform: Monitor for readings and dashboards, Act for finding and pitching opportunities, and Operate with the AI Marketer and its connected apps. The difference is in capacity and support.
The seven-day trial runs on your own website with no credit card. It gives you 50 prompts a day on the three core engines to test the workflow. When it ends, the account pauses. You can then subscribe to Starter or leave it.
Starter is for a single marketer or a small team focused on one brand. At $99 a month, it provides full access to the platform's capabilities, including the AI Marketer with a monthly credit allowance, all outreach tools, and the ability to build agents. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
Enterprise is for companies running multiple brands or requiring deeper analysis. It is quoted, not priced, because each setup is tailored. A quote defines your prompt allowance, brands, engines like Perplexity or Claude, supported regions and languages, and seat count. It includes API access, SSO, and a named contact for support.
Understanding AI search monitoring cost
When evaluating cost, consider what you are buying: a recorded history of how AI answer engines talk about your brand. Unlike traditional search tools, this requires querying live AI models, which is the core operational expense.
The prompt is the fundamental unit. Each prompt you add is asked of the selected engines once per day, and the full answer text and citations are stored. More prompts mean a more complete picture but a higher cost. Starter's 50 prompts are enough to track core product categories and key competitors.
Adding more answer engines also affects cost. Starter covers the three most widespread engines. If your audience heavily uses Claude for research, you would need an Enterprise plan to include it. There is no backfill of historical data, so the value accumulates from your start date forward.
How to choose where to start
Begin with the seven-day trial. Use it to track the questions that matter most for your top product line. See how the dashboards look, try drafting a reply to an opportunity, and ask the AI Marketer a question about your readings.
If the trial shows useful insights for one primary brand, Starter is the logical next step. It is designed for the marketer who needs to own this category without a complex procurement process.
Move to an Enterprise quote when you outgrow these limits. Common triggers are a second brand, a need for more than 50 daily prompts, a requirement to monitor on engines like Perplexity, or the need for team access with SSO. The sales team will build a plan around your specific prompts, brands, and engines.
What you will not find on these plans
Mentionry does not place, publish, or promise links or rankings. The Act module finds opportunities and drafts pitches, but sending is from your own email, and a citation is the publisher's choice.
There is no historical data before you start tracking. Recording begins the day you add a prompt. The platform does not include panel based prompt volume data, FactCheck, or server log analytics. Video generation is for short clips only, and proactive alerts require setting up an agent.
The prices shown are complete. There is no additional fee for exports, the Context Manager, or using the AI Marketer within its run credits. The Enterprise price is quoted to match your exact configuration.
Questions
The trial is a full featured test that lasts seven days and then stops. The Starter plan is a paid subscription that continues indefinitely. Both use the same 50 prompt allowance on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. The trial lets you prove the value on your own site, and Starter lets you keep building that history and using the platform.
