Pick them when

Your bottleneck is producing content rather than knowing where you stand. That is what they are built for, the workflow and grid tooling is genuinely strong, and the free tier lets you try it before anyone quotes you.

Checked facts

  • Its pricing page publishes a figure for one tier only. Insights is listed at $0 a month; Solo, Pro, Pages and Enterprise carry limits and no price. (source, checked 2026-08-23)
  • The Solo tier's AI search insights cover ChatGPT only. Multi-engine insights start at Pro. (source, checked 2026-08-23)
  • Its own domain holds 3,238 referring domains. (checked 2026-08-23)

Ranked by how far each one takes you

The job runs in three steps: read what the answer engines say, find the pages and people behind those answers, then send the approach. Most tools in this category do the first step only. Every cell below comes from the vendor's own published pages, and a field we have not checked says so rather than counting against them.

* AirOps: ChatGPT only, and only from its Solo tier up — the rest of the product is content production.

Why Mentionry is first: it is the only row that does not stop at the reading. It records what the answer engines on your plan say about you every day, then takes the pages those answers cited and finds the journalists, podcasts, awards and contributor programmes behind them, plus the pages linking to your competitors and not to you. Each opening is judged one at a time, and the ones worth taking arrive with the email already written. As with every tool here, the engines depend on the rung: $0 a month runs 3 engines, $99 runs 3 engines, and the quoted tier runs every engine that can run.

Mentionry sends from your own connected mailbox. Whether a page then cites you is the publisher's decision, not ours, and nothing here is promised.

Why look for an AirOps alternative

You look for an alternative to AirOps when your bottleneck is not content production. AirOps is built for that. Its workflow and grid tooling is strong, and the free tier lets you try it before anyone quotes you.

The limitations are in its model coverage and its off-site work. The Solo tier's AI search insights cover ChatGPT only. Multi-engine insights start at the Pro tier, which has no published price. And the platform does not cover the off-site half: finding journalists, podcasts, speaking slots, awards, or the pages your competitors are already cited on. If you need to know where you stand and then act on it elsewhere, another tool will fit.

Featured.com is an AI PR co-pilot that finds media opportunities and helps you pitch them. It is the company behind Connectively, which was HARO. It covers journalist requests, finding journalists, podcast guest booking, speaking opportunities, industry awards, bylined articles, AI answer visibility and unlinked mentions.

Its published price is Lite at $29 a month, billed annually at $348, and Pro at $79 a month, billed annually at $948. A Pro+ tier scales usage twenty times. All plans include every feature the pricing page lists.

Pick Featured.com when you want the earn channel and nothing else, you want it cheap, and you are happy to work inside a chat interface. They are good at this and they are inexpensive.

Pick Mentionry when you also need the links your competitors already have. Featured.com's homepage lists link gap analysis and finding backlinks, but its pricing page does not include those features. Across its top 500 ranked keywords, not one contains the word link, backlink or resource page.

Peec AI

Peec AI is an AI search analytics tool. It tracks how often a brand appears in AI assistant answers and reports share of voice. It covers AI answer visibility and LLM visibility tracking.

Its published price is Starter at $80 a month, billed annually and saving $180, for 50 prompts and three models. Pro is $205 a month, billed annually, for 150 prompts. Advanced is $420 a month, billed annually, for 350 prompts. Enterprise is custom and adds up to eleven models and API access.

Pick Peec AI when you want measurement and nothing else, you have somebody to act on it, and you track a lot of prompts. At 350 prompts on the Advanced tier, they are cheaper per prompt than Mentionry, and they say so on their own pricing page.

Pick Mentionry when you want the reading and then the work. Peec AI tells you that you are absent. It does not get you named. Mentionry finds the pages the answers cited, who to approach, and drafts the message from your own mailbox.

It tracks how a brand appears across AI answer engines, reports prompt volumes and agent traffic, and runs content agents against what it finds. It covers AI answer visibility and LLM visibility tracking.

Its published price is Starter at $99 a month, billed yearly with two months free, for ChatGPT tracking only and 50 prompts. Growth is $399 a month, billed yearly, for three answer engines and 100 prompts. Enterprise is custom and adds up to nine answer engines, SSO and SOC 2.

They have the most data and the most engines at the Enterprise level.

Pick Mentionry when you want the reading and then the work. Mentionry finds the people who can cite you and drafts the approach from your own mailbox. And you would rather pay by the month than commit a year to find out whether any of this works.

Scrunch AI

Scrunch AI is an AI search monitoring tool moving toward what the company now calls an Agent Experience Platform. It covers brand citations, agent traffic on your own site, and site audits aimed at how AI agents read it.

Its published price is Core at $250 a month for 125 prompts, four engines, one brand workspace and five licences. Enterprise is custom and adds nine engines, API access, SSO and a dedicated account team.

Pick Scrunch AI when you care as much about what AI agents do on your site as what they say about you elsewhere. Their agent traffic and site audit work is the most developed in the category, and their entry tier is a genuine monthly price with a free trial.

Pick Mentionry when you want the off-site half. Scrunch AI's audits tell you how to make your own pages readable to an agent. That only helps once the answer already reaches your site. Getting named on somebody else's page is a different job.

Otterly.AI

Otterly.AI is an AI search monitoring tool. It tracks brand mentions and link citations across AI answer engines, with prompt research and a generative engine optimisation audit.

Its published price is Lite at $29 a month for 15 prompts across four engines. Standard is $189 a month for 100 prompts and API access. Premium is $489 a month for 400 prompts. Enterprise is custom and starts from $1,000 a month.

Pick Otterly.AI when you want to start cheaply and you want a monthly term. Twenty nine dollars for fifteen prompts across four engines is the lowest price on a monthly term in this category. Claude, Gemini and Google AI Mode are available as add ons.

Pick Mentionry when fifteen prompts answers whether you are absent, but does not answer what to do about it. Mentionry reads the answers, then finds the pages and the people behind them and drafts the approach.

Mentionry

Mentionry is the AI marketing platform that records what answer engines say about a brand, shows which pages they cite, and finds where the brand could appear next. It identifies pages that cite competitors but not you, resource pages, directories, and unlinked mentions. It also surfaces journalist requests, podcasts booking guests, conferences taking speakers, and awards taking entries. For each opportunity it drafts the pitch you need to send, and you send it from your own mailbox after approval.

Every opportunity comes with a drafted email, form submission or reply, sent from your own connected mailbox. Links are verified after the fact. A link removed or turned nofollow later shows as a change on the scoreboard.

Its published price is a free seven-day trial, then $99 a month for the Starter plan. The trial writes every pitch and sends none; Starter opens the outbox. The Enterprise plan is quoted. An annual term is available and is cheaper.

Pick Mentionry when you want to know what a plan costs before you book a call. And you want the off site half: the pages the answers cited, the people behind them, and the approach drafted and sent.

Pick another tool when you need automatic ingestion of HARO, Source of Sources or Connectively queries. Mentionry does not read anybody's mailbox or log into those platforms, so a query has to be pasted in. Its AI answer visibility channel reads Google AI Overviews and not the other assistants on your plan. It cannot place or publish a link, only send the pitch. Several channels are not built at all, including broken link building, registries and the relationship inventory.

How to choose

Choose based on what you need to do next. If your next task is writing and refreshing content, AirOps is built for that.

If your next task is pitching journalists and earning media, choose Featured.com. It is inexpensive and focused.

If your next task is finding the links your competitors already have and approaching the people behind them, choose Mentionry. It reads the answers, finds the pages, and drafts the outreach from your own address.

Check the published price and the billing term. Some tools publish a monthly price. Some publish an annual billing price and call it monthly. Some publish no price at all for the tier you need. Know what you are agreeing to pay before you book the call.
